Thank you all for taking part in the historic 2008 Black History Month Book Online Fair!  We are going to celebrate BHM 365 days a year, starting with this 29-day literary event.

 
We will discuss everything related to increasing literacy and unity in the African-American community.
This newsletter has all the instructions and important phone numbers for the event. I look forward to chatting with you on the phones each night of Feb.
 
Farewell to Karibu Books
 
Simba Sana of Karibu will join us Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008 as we honor the service of the bookstore and its staff for 15 years! Please join us on the Black Authors Network Radio show to pay tribute to a great literary leader. At night, 8pm-10pm EST we will be on the Black Author's Network Radio speaking with all the featured authors about specifc African-American books or race issues. You can join in here>

Author Instructions

 
1. Go to Amazon.com and write down your rankings on Feb 1., 2008. Watch your numbers as the event goes on.

2. Featured Authors please call into the Black Authors Network Radio show  to talk about your books and the theme subjects, at 8pm-10pm EST each night of the event.

3. After you leave the phone conference, join the chat sessions with readers in the BAN BlogTalk chat room here>

 
4. Visit the main Black History Website and socialize with readers; post to the threads and video blogs started here>
 
 
5. Authors post any news or events you want to share with the readers at our http://blackhistory365.ning.com
